How it works

From your first message to the crew driving away. Most of the friction in a Dubai collection comes from building access, so that is where this page spends its time.

  1. You send photos

WhatsApp is the fastest route. Photograph each item, and add a shot of the doorway or corridor if anything looks close to the limit. Tell us the building or community name and the floor.

Photos matter because they answer the questions that actually set the price: how much there is, how heavy it is, and how it will come out.

  2. We quote, and flag what your building needs

You get a price for the job as described, along with the crew size and how long we expect to be on site. We will also tell you what buildings like yours normally require — a move-out permit, a service lift booking, a gate pass — so you can start that immediately.

  3. You arrange access, we book the slot

Permits are normally issued to the resident or owner rather than to a contractor, so this part sits with you. It is also the longest lead time in most jobs: some buildings want several days' notice, and some issue lift slots only in specific windows.

  4. We attend and clear

The crew protects the route where it is tight, dismantles anything that will not come out whole, carries everything down and loads it. Nothing needs to be staged in the lobby beforehand.

  5. We sweep and leave

The area we worked in is swept and our own packing debris goes with us. If you needed the property ready for a handover inspection, it is ready for the cleaners.

The part people underestimate: building permits

In most Dubai towers, bulky movement is controlled. Building management will typically want a move-out or bulky-item permit, will allocate a service lift for a fixed window, and will expect protective covering in the lift car. Some will also want a cleared service charge account before they issue anything.

Villa communities work differently but are no looser: a gate pass for the commercial vehicle, restricted contractor working hours, and rules about where a vehicle can stand. Commercial towers are stricter again, and usually confine bulky movement to evenings and weekends.

None of this is a problem when it is arranged in advance. It becomes a problem when a crew arrives and the lift has not been booked, because the slot cannot usually be conjured on the day.

What to have ready

  • Anything you are keeping separated, and ideally in one room
  • Drawers, wardrobes and appliances emptied
  • Fridges and washing machines defrosted and drained
  • Permits or gate passes arranged, and the lift slot confirmed
  • Someone on site who can give access and confirm what is leaving

Questions about the process

How long does a collection take?

A single item with lift access is usually under an hour on site. A full apartment clearance is most of a day, and a villa can run longer because of the number of loads. The variable is almost always access rather than the volume itself.

Do I have to be there?

Someone needs to give access and confirm what is leaving. That can be you, a family member, a colleague or an agent, as long as your building will admit them and they can make decisions on the day.

What if there is more than we quoted for?

We tell you on site before we load it, and you decide. We will not add items quietly and present a larger bill at the end.

Do you take payment on the day?

Payment terms are confirmed with your quote before the booking is made, so there are no surprises when the crew arrives.
