What to do before we arrive

• Empty drawers, shelves and under-bed storage completely.

• Clear a path from the item to the front door where you can.
• Tell us about glass tops, marble and mirrored panels so they can be wrapped properly.

Building and access considerations

The usual obstacle is not the building, it is the doorway. Three-seater sofas and corner units frequently cannot be turned through an apartment entrance hall, and built-in wardrobes assembled in place almost never come out whole. Where an item cannot be removed intact we dismantle it. Taller towers may also require the service lift to be booked and lined before furniture is moved.
