Office clearance runs to a lease deadline and a landlord's handover condition, which usually means the space has to be returned empty and often stripped back to shell. That is a scheduling problem as much as a lifting one.

The work also tends to happen outside business hours. Most commercial towers in Dubai restrict bulky movement to evenings or weekends, and require the goods lift to be booked and the route protected.

Building and access considerations

Commercial buildings in Dubai are stricter than residential ones. Expect a permit issued through the facilities manager, a booked goods lift with a fixed time window, floor and lift protection, and in many towers a rule that bulky movement happens only outside office hours. Loading bays are frequently shared, so an over-run affects other tenants and can lose you the slot. We plan around a confirmed window rather than turning up and asking.

Where your items go

Office loads separate reasonably cleanly into furniture, metal, electricals and general waste, and we sort them at the point of loading. Data-bearing equipment is the exception: we do not treat wiping as part of this service, so anything holding company data should be dealt with by your IT team before we collect, or handled under a separate arrangement you have confirmed with us.

What affects the price

We quote per job rather than from a fixed list, because two collections of the same item can be very different pieces of work. These are the factors that move the number:

  • Number of workstations and the total volume of furniture
  • Whether partitions or fit-out elements are being stripped out
  • Access: floor, goods lift availability and loading bay arrangements
  • Out-of-hours or weekend working
  • Deadline, particularly where the clearance must finish across a single weekend

Can you work outside office hours?

Yes, and for most commercial towers it is the only option the building will allow. Confirm the permitted window with your facilities manager and we will schedule to it.

Do you handle IT equipment and data?

We collect and remove IT hardware, but we do not perform data destruction as part of standard office clearance. Have your IT team wipe or remove drives first, or ask us before booking so it can be arranged separately.

Can you strip out partitions?

Yes, where the landlord requires the unit returned to shell. Send the handover condition clause with your enquiry so the scope is quoted correctly.

How much notice do you need?

For a small office, a few days. For a full floor with a fixed handover date, involve us as soon as the date is known, because the building's lift slot is usually the constraint.
